Nash Glass (Corona, NY, 1928-31)

This Art Deco era art glass gold vase displays a molded leaf design on an applied domed disc foot with a polished rim and pontil. A. Douglas Nash bought the Corona glassworks from Louis C. Tiffany in 1928 and founded the A. Douglas Nash Corporation. His father Arthur J. Nash worked at the Webb factory in England and for the Tiffany Glassworks in Corona. Nash Glass made objects similar to Tiffany. Signed: Nash 568
