French Louis XIV Style Burl Elm and Cherrywood Bonnetiere

French Louis XIV Style Burl Elm and Cherrywood Bonnetiere

Ref: I-3-0008

With an unusual combination of woods, this lovely cabinet was hand crafted in the style of the Louis XIV period. It features a flat, cornice top over the large, single door; the door displaying three, burled elm panels; the top one with a double arched top over which is foliate carving. The base contains a large, single drawer that sports a large, pierced steel escutcheon, echoing the escutcheon on the door.
