English Wedgwood Creamware Moonlight Lustre Pitcher

Josiah Wedgwood (Burslem, Etruria and Barlaston, Staffordshire, c. 1759-present)

One of the most rare creamware finishes, this marbleized lustre (feather application) displays tones of puce, orange and gray. This small creamer, in a perfectly simple form, also features blue outlines along the rim and on the handle. A wonderful addition to any pottery, creamware or Wedgwood collection.
