Important Portuguese Painted Teak Architectural Altar Fragment

DETAILS
Crafted in three parts, this antique architectural hand-painted arch panel from Goa, India is painted with foliate and scrolls, musical putti playing horns and violins. Trimmed a floral rose garland around a small niche opening with a cusped shrine arch and pilaster supports. Most-likely to have been the back wall or transom that curved up to the ceiling. Would now make a nice focal point of interest in a great room, living room or bedroom.
