English Regency Chatsworth House Ebonized Wood and Brass Inkstand

DETAILS
This antique, Regency black lacquered period ink stand has a rectangular two-tier frame with reeded edges and a brass carrying handle. It has three square wells for ink bottles, over two pen trays, one with a sliding lid and brass knob, above a long base drawer on one side. Together with two beveled edge, square ink bottles with flip-top, brass-mounted lids. From an important estate with great history, it would be the centerpiece of any desk.
