(1) English James Clew Brass Teapot / Toddy Kettle. Of squat form with amber glass top handle. It was traditionally used to boil water to add to whiskey to make a hot toddy. They tended to be made in Birmingham for export to Scotland and worldwide. MAKER James Clews (Birmingham, England, c. 1835-1948) MARKS Stamped: JCB flanked by arrows. CONDITION Note: some minor dents (base).
(1) English Brass Footed Teapot. Of squat, lobed form with turned, top wooden handle
(1) Chinese Brass and Copper Teapot. Of squat form with copper base and overhead bail handle
(1) Japanese Metal Basket Weave Over-cup Tea Strainer. MARKS Stamped: Japan Patent
(1) Wire Kitchen Strainer. With straight handle
