The front of this round, antique, 18th century pewter dinner plate is engraved with the owner's initials: I.G.F.M. and displays a reeded rim and shallow cavetto.
MARKS
Stamped (on reverse): three touchmarks (rubbed) with the standing angel holding a sword and scales, with a stag and the word Fein above. This angel touchmark appears in many different versions on European antique pewter, often with the words Fein Zinn meaning Fine Pewter and sometimes the maker's name.
