An antique, Tiffany Studios rectangular beaded edge desk or dresser box with a hinged lid and pierced pine needle pattern over unusual white opalescent slag glass. With fitted fabric lined interior. With traces of the original silver-plate.

Model: 816. The Pine Needle pattern desk set was first introduced in 1899 and remained in production for approximately 20 years.
