DETAILS
An antique figure group of two seated red and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs. One is perched above the other seated on a barrel. Dogs were a popular Staffordshire figure choice for the Victorian mantelpiece and would be originally modeled in opposing pairs. Spaniels were favorite pets of the English royalty, in particular by Queen Victoria.
