This antique landscape painting depicts a small Scandinavian seaside village. This painting has a graphic quality, in pattern and color, similar to that employed in printmaking and resembles a contemporary modern painting, until you look closer and see the village. The painting shows the rich colors of an afternoon sun, with a dramatic palette used frequently at that time period. Note: recently cleaned. Unframed.
