These antique, 19th century, Victorian grilles or bars have knopped details intersected by acanthus leaf sections. They include four posts with female figure caryatid capitals above spiral twist columns, above a foliate section and tall, squared bases. They would be stunning re-purposed as a gate. These grates were salvaged from a Denver, Colorado bank and used to ornament and protect the glass in front of the bank vault entrance.
