Anglo Indian Art Deco Painted Teak Double Door with Frame and Transom

Ref: AR4072
This Anglo Indian doorway is made from solid, thick teakwood in the English Art Deco style. There is an original Art Deco wrought iron transom grill over the window which could be removed and used separately. The Art Deco style was popularized in India following the building of the huge Morbi Art Deco Palace in Gujarat, which was built to resemble the London underground stations designed by Charles Holden. This doorway was salvaged from a building in the area of the palace. These doors could make a dramatic home theatre entrance!
