Very imaginatively conceived and carefully hand crafted, this special antique Chinese cabinet was, no doubt, a Buddhist altar. It features a pierced, carved gallery around the top, with an opening at the front over a central opening having a pierced arched top.It is flanked by two small drawers over open sections with pierced detail and small double door cabinets with carved details. It retains much of the red lacquer finish.
