This early chest was hand crafted in traditional, stile and rail construction, displaying reeded moulding. It features three, recessed panels on the top and on the front, with carved bull's eyes along the top of the front and centered within the panels. It retains the original, hand forged iron keyhole escutcheon and the till on in interior. Notice the warm honey tone of the wood.
