The epitome of provincial charm, this wonderful, early antique, Scandinavian cabinet was hand crafted with hand forged iron nails, cotterpin hinges and a primitive hanging loop. Note the hand forged spring lock on the inside of the door. The piece retains its original painted finish: black with red and green details, the initials J.H. and S.A. 1769. With key. The interior with an old paper label with traces of a hand drawn couple holding a baby.
