Beautifully hand fashioned, this form of cabinet on stand was popular in the 17th century. It features two doors with hand carved floral urn designs, surmounted by inlaid, scrolled designs and small corbels supporting the cornice, and flanked by palmette panels. Two nicely moulded drawers form a waist with double arches and a central, inverted finial over a large, open, lower shelf. The great attention to details makes this a special antique, indeed.
