An elegant, antique, British secretaire bookcase from the late George III period. The glazed, double door, bookcase cabinet top with mullions, over a slanted desk front, opening to fitted drawers and pigeonholes. The base is crafted with a traditional arrangement of four graduated chest of drawers on bracket feet. The top frieze drawer is flanked by pull-out lopers to support the fall-front writing surface.
