An attractive, antique, mid 19th century sterling silver three-bottle cruet set with rope-twist edges, openwork three-bottle frame and top handle. With two cut glass bottles. The cartouche is engraved with an elaborate coat of arms with the Latin motto Auspice Teucro (Under the Guidance of Teucer) with the Tucker coat of arms. It is a scarce small size, perhaps used for a breakfast tray.
Brothers, George and Charles Fox came from a family of silversmiths, inheriting their company from their father.
