An antique, Victorian period, vase of ovoid form in robins egg blue, cased, satin glass with gilt enamel decoration of flowers and butterflies.
The decoration was created in the decorating shop under the direction of master enameler and gilder Jules Barbe, who Thomas Wilkes Webb recruited at the 1878 Paris International Exhibition.
