This antique, 19th century bon-bon or nut dish is beautifully hand-blown, with a cranberry bowl resting on top of a teardrop in the clear stem. Bristol glass was highly collected both in England and Europe during the late 18th and 19th centuries. Bristol cranberry glass was first introduced around 1850 and made by adding 24k gold to the lead crystal to achieve its deep red coloring.
