Vichi was one of the sculptors associated with The Galleria Bazzanti (1822-present). Carved from a single block of marble, this lively group of five putti comprises a singer with sheet music and musicians playing a variety of instruments including a flute, mandolin, violin and tambourine. They are covered by draped cloths after the antique and standing on an oval plinth.
