This primitive, early American, antique punched tin lantern is designed with a conical top, and a ring handle for transport. It has a cylindrical body with a single, hinged door and is punched overall with a rosette hex style design. It makes a charming table-top accessory, but also could be hung on a bracket or ceiling. Originally for candles it has been fitted for electricity with a one-light socket (requires rewiring).
