This antique, hand-held Buddhist mani prayer wheel is also known as a khorten or chos-kor or wheel of Dharma. This example has a long wooden handle with a cylindrical wooden case with brass strapping and topped by a finial. A small round ball hangs from a string to create a rhythm when the wheel is spun. From Tibet, India.
