Shelves originally from cast iron archival library bookcases by Snead and Company. Designed by Angus Snead Macdonald, this modular book stacking system was produced in a range of sizes and configurations and revolutionized library book stacks. The shelves were used in many notable libraries across the United States and internationally, including the Library of Congress, the Vatican and the New York Public Library. Several shelves available. Price is per shelf.
