A vintage black and white etching of the south entrance of the Gothic period Chartres Cathedral (France, built c. 1194-1250). Note: unframed. Varian was born and died in Denver, Colorado and was known for his Colorado mining town scenes. His work is part of the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
