This lithographed tin toy shows a young boy on a tricycle decorated with cartoon character graphics. The wind-up mechanism moves the boy's articulated legs and arms and rings the bell as he peddles in a figure-eight pattern. This colorful toy displays great graphics and would be a great addition to a vintage toy collection.
Date: c. 1930
Dimensions: W 7.5 D 5 H 8.5 in.
Condition note: some minor, typical loss to paint from play. When wound the legs will turn when the toy is held but it does not advance forward on the ground. It may need some oiling or minor restoration. We did not want to risk overwinding the mechanism.
