This fairly large, antique Chinese table, of hefty proportion, was hand fashioned with a floating panel top over a hand carved, pierced waist, featuring a floral motif. The convex apron is carved to suggest cloud forms and is supported by cabriole, beaded legs that display more cloud forms on the knees and scrolled detail on the feet. Notice the humpback, box stretcher. The table rests atop a footed, square platform with open center. It makes a good center table.
