German WMF Silverplate and Glass Bacchanal Figural Compote Centerpiece

DETAILS
An elaborate, antique tazza centerpiece with three figures forming the stem. A Bacchus or Dionysus figure supports the clear cut glass bowl above his head while a maiden offers a cup of wine to him. A cherub sits at their feet playing a horn.

Stamped: WMF / I/O. I/O means the normal thickness of silver plate on the base metal.
