Rectangular case, the lid with gilt cartouche with a lady dancing while a gentleman watches and violinist plays, all on a pink ground. The sides with gilt cartouches and floral sprigs. The interior with lid and the words: "Aimable Ieunesse, douce Tendresse" (nice soft youth kindness). Mounts are likely gilt silver. Sold as found.
