This rare and unusually decorative side table was elaborately hand carved with a boldly executed, scrolling wave design around the body and an intricately carved foliate and shell design on the deep, shaped apron. The cabriole legs display rich acanthus leaves on the knees, tapering to fine and graceful legs that terminate on wonderfully well-defined hoof feet. It is a special table for an important setting in the home.
