Small Pair of Early Indo-Portuguese Baroque Painted Teak Architectural Pilasters

DETAILS
A set of two half columns, hand carved in stylized Corinthian column form. Each of these Baroque style, antique pillars features a richly carved acanthus motif on the capital, which sits atop a fluted columns that terminates on a tall base, carved with putti, medallions, drape and foliate figures. Displaying an old, warm painted finish and a beautiful, aged patina this pair makes a very decorative addition to any room, and their diminutive size offers many decorating possibilities.
