This small, antique wooden fireplace mantel features a shallow mantle surmounting a fairly deep, finely reeded frieze that is flanked by squared, tapering pilasters; the tops with lozenge cutouts that reveal the reeded backs. With a patinated, shabby chic white, painted wood finish, it is a charming surround and fits well into limited space.
