This very unusual planter was hand carved in square form. It was formed with a straight, broad rim surmounting a tapered body and terminating on a tiered, square base. Notice the interesting feature of the four supporting ribs at the center of each side; the front one with a C carved into it at the rim; perfect for an owner with that initial.
