DETAILS
Hand carved in soft toned Bourguignon stone, this lovely, antique, fireplace chimney features a shaped mantel surmounting a frieze that displays a small shell at the center with small reserves on the sides. Stylized acanthus leaves within reserves form the blocks over the canted, slightly cabriole-shaped, fluted jambs.
