DETAILS
This robustly executed, antique oak cupboard features an arched cornice with hand carved, conventionalized shell ornamentation on the sides. It surmounts double doors with applied, carved floral details; which open to reveal deep, butterfly shelves. The low base also has double doors and terminates on bracket feet. This bold piece now sports a very dark brown painted finish. It was found in a German Bierstube.
