DETAILS
This antique American New England fall-front desk is built with beautiful figured mahogany was probably made in Salem or Boston, Massachusetts. It is crafted with a slanted desk top above four graduated reverse serpentine (oxbow) chest of drawers with brass batwing handles, all raised on ball and claw feet. The slanted top opens to reveal pigeon-hole letter compartments over an arrangement of short drawers with inlaid stringing. Secondary wood: pine.
