Vintage single strand necklace with natural blue turquoise nuggets intersected by stacked shell discs. Heishe or heishi traditionally refer to small discs or tubular beads made from organic shells or stones by the Kewa (Santa Domingo) Pueblo people of New Mexico. Can be worn as a single strand or stacked with
other heishi necklaces.
