This unusually tall, traditional, antique Indian oil lamp is known as a diya. It features a very decorative, stylized fleur-de-lis handle, over an oil well with five wick holders, and a height adjuster with an open handle, set upon a straight column with baluster form turnings at the bottom. The base is a heavy, footed drip pan. This impressive piece makes an interesting and attractive accessory for the modern home.
