DETAILS
A scarce antique, cast metal figural mantel clock modelled as a standing, panting dog on a molded, oblong plinth. Originally designed as an automaton so that the dog's tail wags and the tongue moves in and out. Fitted with glass eyes. With white enamel dial with Roman numerals. This type of automaton clock was produced by the Joseph Mayer clock factory for the English market.
