DETAILS
A very scarce American Aesthetic Movement vase of bottle form with small pierced handles and an embossed gilt band around the body and neck. It was made from local clays from the Baltimore area. Hand built, limited production examples from this company are very difficult to find.

Haynes hired two very experienced British potters to oversee his factory: Frederick Hackney and Lewis Taft. Taft had previously worked at William Brownfield & Son and Hackney at Wedgwood and at Fielding.
