MAKER
Artist: Roland Kempe (Swedish, 1907-91). Kempe was interested in the School of Paris, who were a group of foreign artists living in Paris before WWI and whose members included Picasso. Kempe was acquainted with Picasso and his cubist influence can be seen in this work. Selected collections: Brooklyn Museum, the National Museum in Stockholm and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
