A charming, antique oil on canvas full-length portrait of siblings, Susan Hulme Grundy (b. 1838) and her younger brother Joseph Knight Grundy (1841-73), flanking their pet lamb with a landscape background. Their parents were Rebecca Hulme Grundy (American, 1804-95) and Edmund Grundy (English-American, 1799-1878). The family lived in a grand home at Walnut Grove Farm (Newportville Road, Bristol Township, Pennsylvania).

Robert Street (American, 1796-1865) | Active/lived: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Street was a well known painter of landscapes, historical scenes and portraits including President Andrew Jackson. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1815-61). His work is part of the collections of National Gallery of Art (Washington, D.C.) and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
