Indo-Portuguese Ebonized Rosewood and Beveled Glass Two-Part Cabinet

DETAILS
The top portion of this antique, black lacquered two-part Indo-Portuguese cabinet features a scroll carved gallery over a small display cupboard with beveled glass doors. It sits atop a larger base that features double, carved and pierced doors in a scroll and foliate pattern, accented by foliate, gadroon and egg-and-dart borders. Notice, also, the starburst carving on the sides of both sections. A great storage piece, it is also nice decorative element in an living room, dining room or great room.
