DETAILS
An antique, rectangular pier or trumeau mirror salvaged from a period 18th century, French built-in paneled room. The top panel is painted in gouache with an oval reserve featuring a painting of Roman mythological goddess, Diana the Huntress. She stands with her knee bent, drawing her bow and arrow, framed by opposing putti figures and foliate scroll decoration in a grisaille palette.
