Natural history study of a variety of sea shell illustrations. Menabuoni and Pazzi created 110 plates after specimens from Dr. Niccolò Gualtieri’s (Italian, 1688-1744) natural history collection. Gualtieri's original shell collection is housed at the Museo di Storia Naturale (Pisa, Italy).
