An antique architectural hand colored bookplate on paper of the ceiling of Lady Bute's dressing room at Luton House. Luton Hoo (Luton, Hertfordshire, England, built 1767) was designed by architect Robert Adam and home to Lady Bute, Mary Stuart (nee Montagu), Countess of Bute, 1st Baroness Mount Stuart (English, 1716-94).
