A vintage bronze sculpture of two siblings lounging in a fountain pool on a hot summer day.

Together with a miniature framed studio portrait of the Travis children by Aime Dupont (Belgian-American, 1841-1900) | Aimé Dupont Studio (New York, circa 1884-1950). Dupont was a sculptor before becoming a photographer. He is best known for his portraits of celebrities and singers with the New York Metropolitan Opera. Includes a black and white photo of the children in the garden pool.

PROVENANCE
According to the family, the children are siblings John and Nancy Ann Travis (American, 1924-32), children of Albert Chester Travis (American, 1883-1968). Together with the original photo given to the artist. The fountain is on the grounds of the Bacon House (Prospect Street, Belmont, Massachusetts)
