DETAILS
A fine antique, heavy bronze table lamp by noted New York designer and manufacturer Edward F. Caldwell & Company. Inspired by the designs of 16th century Italy, this antique, candlestick lamp has a candle-cup and circular drip pan on a baluster turned standard, and is raised on a stepped triangular base with a conforming pierced plinth. It is cast throughout with strapwork designs and decorated with masks, caryatids and reserves of classical soldiers, all in contrasting silver gilt.
