DETAILS
This flatly cast steel, antique, eagle figure was designed by George Clymer in three sizes as a counterweight for the Columbian iron hand press. The eagle grasps an olive branch of peace and the cornucopia or Horn of Plenty, signifying prosperity. The elongated head profile is sometimes called a snakehead or turkey head eagle. Now mounted on a round base. Today this statue could be used: outdoors, as an architectural, landscape or garden accessory.
