This property is located about 50 miles from Bordeaux at the entrance of the Perigord region in the south of France. Théobon meaning Good God is an ancient historical site founded on a Roman fortification on a hilltop plateau. The château was was completely remodeled in the 17th century and later was damaged during the French Revolution. One of the fireplaces in the castle was sold in 1924 and is currently installed in a music room at Harvard University.
